It's that time of year again for us, yes it's high school volleyball season. For those of you who don't know, Jeff coaches the J.V. team at Broomfield High School. He's been coaching there 5 years going on 6. He has more Eagle pride than he ever had from his own high school (Horizon Hawks). I've only been a part of the Broomfield volleyball scene for 3 years, but I'm starting so see why he has so much eagle pride. The spirit and the energy from these girls is just really addicting to be around, they are a great group of girls. It's hard to watch the seniors graduate every year, next year will be the hardest when 9 girls that we have become very attached to graduate. We have watched them come on when they were freshman and mature into some great volleyball players, and great young women. So for the next 2 months our blog will become a tribute to the girls on the Broomfield High School volleyball team, with updates from all the games (both J.V. and Varsity) and any highlights that may stand out from those games. The first game of the season was on Thursday night (Aug. 28th) at BHS against the Niwot Cougars. The match went to four games,25-20 25-19 24-26 25-14 . We're very happy that Varsity's season has started with a good note. Jeff's team lost in two to their J.V. team. We hope they get it back together for the next game.
